An original production script of Stephen Weeks’ debut feature, the 1971 British horror film I, Monster.
I, Monster is an adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel, Strange Case Of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, starring the iconic pairing of Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing, as Marlowe and Utterson respectively.
This production-used script was written by Milton Subotsky, is 85 pages long and printed on US legal-size paper. It is bound in a dark blue card cover with a small window for the title and with two metal butterfly fasteners. The title page is undated and bears the title, Milton Subotsky’s name and details of Amicus Productions. The entire script remains unannotated except for a small handwritten number on the title page.
This item has some curled corners and creases, as well as rust marks from the metal fasteners but, given its age, it is in very good condition.
