John Munch's (Richard Belzer), Frank Pembleton's (Andre Braugher) and Steve Crosetti's (Jon Polito) business cards from TV police drama Homicide: Life On The Street. Running from 1993-1999, the series enjoyed seven seasons and won numerous awards including Emmys for Outstanding Director (Barry Levinson) and Outstanding Lead Actor (Andre Braugher), and Program of the Year (Television Critics Association Awards).
Munch, Pembleton and Crosetti are part of a Baltimore police homicide investigation unit that investigates violent crimes. They used their business cards in numerous instances throughout the series’ run, at crime scenes and when dealing with witnesses.
Each card is printed on a small rectangular piece of card and stamped with the blue Baltimore Police Department logo. The detectives’ names are respectively printed in black on each, together with ‘Criminal Investigation Unit’, ‘Homicide Unit’ and the precinct’s contact details. The cards are presented in small, stiff plastic wallets. Accompanying the set are three full colour, postcard-style prints with the portrait of each detective accompanied by identical images of a gun in an evidence bag and the Homicide: Life On The Street logo.
Despite very minor wear from use in production, the set is in excellent overall condition.
