This movie would make Humphrey Bogart a top-billed star and was the last time Bogart would receive second billing, in this case, just after Ida Lupino. His career of spent as the second-billed bad guy was over, and the rest is history. This scarce one-sheet is a must-have for noir, gangster, or Bogie fans.
Due to small chips and tears along the poster's borders, there has been airbrushing to the borders and the red background. Touch-up has also been applied to the center points and some fold lines. Overall, with the professional restoration, the poster is now very presentable.
Real-life friends Humphrey Bogart and John Huston made their Hollywood breakthrough with this solid noir, adapted from the W.R. Burnett novel by Huston and starring Bogart as a criminal who's busted out of prison to take part in a jewel robbery that swiftly goes wrong.
