A pair of Cathedral Head's (Brian Steele) Hand Appliances from Guillermo del Toro’s 2008 superhero hit, Hellboy II: The Golden Army. In the film, when Hellboy (Ron Pearlman) and his team investigate New York’s fabled Troll Market, Abe Sapien (Doug Jones) comes across the map seller known only as Cathedral Head. Based on an original design by del Toro, the appliances function as gloves and are made from foam latex that has been applied over a stretchy spandex material. The gloves have been painted in earthy colors and the right hand has been crafted so that the ring and pinky fingers are merely stubs.
The gloves feature some wear due to production use and age, with small areas where the foam has hardened and cracked, however the gloves remain in otherwise good worn condition.
