Mother Lecter’s (Ingeborga Dapkunaite) burnt coat from Peter Webber’s 2007 thriller Hannibal Rising.
The film tells the story of Hannibal Lecter's (Gaspard Ulliel) early years, and how he plotted revenge on the people who killed his parents in WWII.
Hannibal’s mother (Ingeborga Dapkunaite) wore her coat at the beginning of the film when she faced her untimely and violent death. She was cradled by young Hannibal (Aaron Thomas) as she died. It is one of several made for production.
The long brown coat has a decorative fur collar - the back of the coat is singed and melted in places from the scene in the yard where Hannibal’s mother was brutally gunned down. There are pieces of fake snow attached to the fibres of the jacket. No sizes marked.
Aside from its intentional production-based distressing, the coat remains in overall good condition.
Materials: Man-Made Woven Fibres.
