A ‘Battle of Carthage’ spear from Ridley Scott’s 2000 historical epic Gladiator.

Gladiators on chariots used their spears during the ‘Battle of Carthage’ re-enactment at the Colosseum. The main body of the spear is made from wood painted red and yellow, and the spear section is made of hard rubber. The item has some wear from production use and age, including scuffing and scratches, with areas where the paint has worn away. Overall it remains in a good, production-used condition.
