A large Terror Dog statue from Ivan Reitman's supernatural comedy Ghostbusters. The two loyal servants of Gozer (Slavitza Jovan) first appeared when they manifested inside a pair of dog-like statues sat atop Dana Barrett's (Sigourney Weaver) apartment building, built years before as a temple to the Destructor.
The statue is made of rigid foam with a plaster-like coating, finished to replicate the appearance of carved stone. Exhibiting a menacing appearance, the creature features two large horns, an open snarling mouth displaying a set of fangs, and multiple protruding spines down its back.
This particular statue was sympathetically restored by Tom Spina Designs, Inc. The repairs include the reattachment of one tooth, the fabrication of several new horn components, and some paint touch-ups. The statue is mounted on a square base and displays some signs of paint wear and cracks in the coating. Dimensions (displayed): 117 cm x 88 cm x 121 cm (46" x 34 3/4" x 47 1/2")
