Sgt. John O'Mara's (Josh Brolin) Lighter Fluid Canister from the 2013 Ruben Fleischer period film, Gangster Squad. In the film, a secret team of police officers led by Sgt. John O'Mara (Josh Brolin) and Sgt. Jerry Wooters (Ryan Gosling) assemble to take down the ruthless mob boss Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) in 1949 Los Angeles.
This item comes from the scene in which the Gangster Squad burns down one of Cohen's wire gambling operations, which resides in the backroom of a nightclub. To demonstrate their ruthlessness, O'Mara sprays Cohen's money stash with lighter fluid before Wooters sets it ablaze. The rectangular metal canister features a yellow label that is wrapped around. The label features the 'zippo' brand printed in red, with various warnings printed around the can. The can features dents in the frame from where it was squeezed onset to release the water that resided inside. 'H20' is written on the bottom of the can in black marker.
This item measures approximately 3.5" x 1.5" x 7.5" (9cm x 4cm x 18cm) and is in good production used condition.
