Production-Used Script

Stock #100412

“Whenever I despair, I remember that the way of truth and love has always won. There may be tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they may seem invincible, but in the end, they always fail. Think of it: always.”

A production-used script from Richard Attenborough’s 1982 biopic drama Gandhi. The life of the lawyer who became the famed leader of the Indian revolts against the British rule through his philosophy of nonviolent protest.

Scripts were used throughout the production by cast and crew. The script, written by John Briley, is 204 pages and a thick card cover. It is fastened with two metal rods and washers, it shows handwritten notes throughout and has a crew members name written on the front. The script shows degradation from age and repeated use, but it remains in an otherwise very good condition.

Materials: Paper, Card, Ferrous Metals.
