A set of mechanical dragon eggs from the promotion of David Benioff and D.B. Weiss' epic fantasy series Game of Thrones. Commissioned by HBO's PR and Event team for use in various promotional events, this lot comprises three cast-resin dragon eggs, painted to replicate the eggs received by Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) during Season 1.
The eggs are fixed within a purple-velvet-lined wooden chest. Powered by a UK 230V plug or a rechargeable 12V battery, several motor components contained within the chest cause the eggs to vibrate, appearing as if they are in the early stages of hatching. Displaying minor wear, the lot is accompanied by a key-fob remote, which activates the animatronic features, and a note from the previous seller.
