German Helmet

Stock #47408

“See that? That’s a whole city on fire. I bet that’s where those bombers were heading. The dying’s not done. The killing’s not done.”

A German helmet used in the production of David Ayer’s 2014 American WW2 tanker movie Fury.

Sent on a deadly mission behind enemy lines at WW2’s end, Sergeant Dan “Wardaddy” Collier (Brad Pitt) fights to keep his crew together as they are outgunned and outnumbered in Nazi Germany.

This helmet and others like it were used by the German infantry throughout the film as the crew of Fury drove deep behind enemy lines. The steel M42 helmet has a leather suspension liner and has been painted dark grey. A leather chin strap is attached inside the helmet, which can be adjusted using the buckle.

There are a few areas where the paint has flaked away from use, both on the exterior and interior. The helmet is in excellent production-used condition, with only very minor scratches and marks on the surface.

Materials: Ferrous Metals, Leather.
