Fury Tank 50cal Shell and Link

Stock #71673

A .50cal round and link from the production of the American WW2 tanker movie Fury. Sent on a deadly mission behind enemy lines at the war’s end, Sergeant Dan “Wardaddy” Collier (Brad Pitt) fights to keep his crew together as they are outgunned and outnumbered in Nazi Germany.

Recovered by a senior crew member after filming, this round of ammunition and others like it were fired from the 50cal machine gun used by Wardaddy during the climactic battle around the Fury tank. The shells were strewn across the top of the tank when Norman "Machine" Ellison (Logan Lerman) was recovered from Fury by advancing American troops.

A depression in the primer indicates that the round has been fired. The piece has been dressed down to look grimy from use in the brutal battle. A belt link, also recovered from the tank, is included with the round.

Distressed for use and showing some signs of production wear, the .50cal shell remains in overall very good condition.
