"Does your, uh, zombie want to play? What do you call him, anyways?"
Timmy's (Kesun Loder) baseball and a polaroid from Andrew Currie's zombie comedy Fido.
The film follows Timmy Robinson and his best friend, a six-foot-tall zombie named Fido (Billy Connolly). Soon Timmy must find a way to keep Fido a part of his family, after the zombie eats the Robinson's neighbours.
A baseball was used in a game of fetch between Timmy and Fido (Billy Connolly) that went hideously wrong in the park. Polaroids were used by the production to ensure continuity of props and costumes.
This standard white, cowhide leather baseball features red stitching and has been intentionally distressed to appear worn and dirty. The name 'Timmy R' has been handwritten in black across the exterior and has faded over time. The polaroid shows Fido wearing a baseball glove, with the text 'Sc.36, Fido rescue Timmy, Ball & glove' written in black ink.
The ball shows wear from production use and distressing, and the polaroid displays a mark and light surface scratches. Both pieces remain in very good condition and the ball has a diameter of approximately 7.5 cm (3").
Materials: Man-Made Woven Fibres, Paper.
