Miniature German U-Boat Torpedo

Stock #24952

A prop torpedo miniature from the 2001 mystery drama Enigma. This small scale piece appears to have been used during the convoy battle in the North Atlantic when a German U-Boat fires upon one of the defenceless ships, an underwater shot clearly shows a torpedo leaving the wartime submarine. The long torpedo is made of a combination of wood and resin painted metallic silver and brass, complete with tiny hole vents, fins and ignition button at the very front. It displays wear from production use and storage through scuffs revealing the grey base layer but is in physically sound condition. It measures approximately 109cm (43”) long and 9cm (3.5”) wide.
