A formic painting print from Gavin Hood’s 2012 sci-fi adaption, Ender’s Game. In the film, Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield) is recruited to lead the International Fleet against the Formic race. This painting can be found in the deleted scene in which Colonel Graff (Harrison Ford) brings Valentine (Abigail Breslin) to see Ender during which a background actor can be seen painting it.

The painting features a large Formic alien bearing down on a human skeleton in the foreground, and smaller Formic aliens swarming on human forms in a tunnelling fashion. The piece is printed on canvas with a wooden frame.

The piece measures 19” x 30” x 1” (49cm x 76cm x 3cm) and displays minimal wear from production use and storage. Overall, the painting is in excellent condition.
