A script, paperwork, and crew sweatshirt from David Lynch's historical biopic The Elephant Man.

The heavily annotated, 136-page script - credited to Christopher De Vore, Eric Bergren and David Lynch - is dated "August 1st, 1979". The paperwork includes various ephemera, including call sheets; a budget breakdown; a blueprint; a crowd and small parts list; a set list; shooting schedules; a synopsis; and a schedule index in a black folder with two pressed leaves. The folder features a "The Star Wars" sticker, indicating it previously held paperwork on a Star Wars production. The grey sweatshirt - labelled "large" - features the film's title with a looping row of elephants around its middle. It has shrunk over time. The script and folder display staining, creasing and discolouration. Dimensions (script): 31 cm x 22 cm x 2 cm (12¼" x 8¾" x¾"); (paperwork folder): 31.5 cm x 23.5 cm x 2.5 cm (12½" x 9" x 1")
