An M63 shell from Doug Liman’s 2014 action sci-fi film Edge of Tomorrow.
Europe has been invaded by aliens. Cage (Tom Cruise) is a soldier with no combat experience who gets killed shortly after going into battle. Then he wakes up and begins the day again, restarting it every time he dies, allowing him to learn how to defeat the alien enemy.
This shell and others like it were made for the production for the military as they prepare for the assault on France. It is not obviously seen on screen. The shell is made of resin and painted to look like metal. The head, which has ‘37G Shell M63’ printed in white on it, is detachable.
There is some wear from production use, including scuffing to the paint work, but overall it remains in a very good condition.
Ownership of this imitation shell is restricted for UK residents to registered re-enactors, galleries or individuals in film, television or theatre production. Please enquire for further details. It is solely the buyer’s responsibility to check, prior to ordering, the legal status of this prop within their own country and its importation therein.
