A dropship fuselage explosion panel from Doug Liman’s 2014 action sci-fi film Edge of Tomorrow.
A soldier fighting aliens gets to relive the same day over and over again, the day restarting every time he dies.
Dropship panels were used as set decoration in the battle ground and in the scenes on the dropship when it explodes. The panel is a resin shell with cracks and holes added to appear damaged, the larger hole is filled with cotton wool, and a foam trim with plastic domes to look like bolts and metal. The panel shows minimal damage from production use, the foam trim shows tears with some pieces torn off, there is chipped paint throughout and dirt marks. The panel remains in an otherwise good condition.
Materials: Resin, Man-Made Woven Fibres, Plastic.
