A special effects EXO suit cannon used in the production of 2014 sci-fi action film Edge Of Tomorrow. Summarily demoted and sent to the front lines, former propaganda officer William Cage (Tom Cruise) finds himself repeating the same disastrous day of combat over and over again. Enlisting the help of Sergeant Rita Vrataski (Emily Blunt), the soldiers struggle to find a way to bring the Mimics down and prevent the fall of the human race.
This style of cannon was wielded by the elite troopers assigned to Rita Vrataski’s unit as they marched on the French coast for the invasion, with this particular example modified with a strobe emitter so it could replicate the look of automatic weapons fire. Based on the 7.62mm FN SCAR-H rifle with attached grenade launcher, the weapon has a modified upper receiver and barrel and additional detail designed to look like support arms at the rear. The weapon is made of biscuit foam and features plenty of dress-up components including switches, cables and panels, a special magazine housing and accessory rails on the top and sides. The emitter, fitted within the flash hider, has wires running out of the weapon’s left side. The emitter remains functional.

Distressed for use with some wear from its time on the production, the rifle remains in very good condition.
