A collection of production equipment articles and a screening invitation for Steven Spielberg's classic science fiction film, E.T. In the film, a young boy befriends an alien and helps him return to his home world.
Fieldtec, Inc. was recruited in the production process to help supply the portable isolator and other equipment required for the makeshift lab the government scientists make in Elliot's (Henry Thomas) home after E.T. is discovered. Included in the set are two different articles detailing the equipment and use of the tools implemented for use in the film. One article is entitled "The Isolation of an Extra Terrestrial Patient" and the other is entitled "Dentists Get a Breather from High Technology and Hollywood." There are two copies of the latter article included in the set, one of which including handwritten annotations and edits. Also included in the set is a flyer listing the Fieldtec, Inc. screening party information and two pages that list the order of appearance for each piece of equipment used in the film.
The set shows signs of wear from storage and age, but it remains in good overall condition.
