A Justice Department metal detector from Pete Travis' 2012 dystopian thriller Dredd. Assigned a psychic rookie candidate for field training, Judge Dredd (Karl Urban) and rookie Anderson (Olivia Thirlby) hit the streets of Mega City 1 and soon become embroiled in a deep investigation regarding the illegal drug SLO-MO and brutal gang leader Ma-Ma (Lena Headey).
Though not obviously seen on screen, this practical piece of security equipment and others like it were used by the security judges within the Halls of Justice. The detector is made of plastic and powered by a 9V battery (not included) and can be set to vibrate or beep when metal is detected along the paddle. The piece has a decal with the Justice Department eagle logo in silver on one side and is holstered in a faux-leather belt holder.
Displaying only minor wear from use on the production, the metal detector remains in very good production-used condition.
