Dracula (TV Series 2013)

Alexander Grayson (Jonathan Rhys Myers) Western Railway Stunt Costume

Stock #58430

Alexander Grayson's (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) Western Railway stunt costume from NBC's horror-drama Dracula.

Grayson wore his Western Railway costume in the series' fifth episode, 'The Devil's Waltz', during a flashback sequence when he first encountered R.M. Renfield (Nonso Anozie) on an old western steam train.

The costume consists of a white shirt with blue stripes, a black necktie, brown striped trousers and frock coat as well as a white detachable shirt collar, grey tweed waistcoat and mustard-coloured overcoat. It was used for stunt and actor double work during the episode.

Inside the overcoat is a handwritten label reading 'Double'. The suit jacket, trousers, waistcoat and shirt are each marked 'Stunt'. No markings are present on the black tie or detachable collar.

The costume contains no size markings except for the boots, which are sized '9 ½'. Some minor production-based wear is evident on the shirt, suit jacket, trousers and waistcoat, but each remains in very good condition. The coat displays intentional distressing and stains from use during production, but is similarly in very good overall condition.

This is an original asset used in the production of the NBC television drama Dracula. The asset is made available through a partnership between Prop Store, Carnival and NBC Universal. This is not a replica, but rather an original piece from the making of the show.
