Horror fans had to wait a long eight years to see Christopher Lee back in Transylvania in the Hammer 'Dracula' sequel "Dracula Prince of Darkness" (1966). Tom Chantrell's striking design was issued in two versions (both without certificate); one for use in Great Britain and the other excusively for the Commonwealth Territories. Offered here is the design used in the UK and boasts suitably gory imagery, a blood-dripping title and a day-glo 'Dracula'. If you get the opportunity it is well worth viewing this poster under a black light as the imagery takes on a whole new (demonic) look that really is quite stunning. Presented unrestored, this originally folded (as issued) poster has some cosmetic wear but is extremely hard to find in any condition. 30" x 40" (76 x 102 cm)
Unrestored, folded (as issued). Bright, bold colours with fold line, handling wear commensurate with age.
