'USA Today' Newspaper

Stock #10705

”You people. If there isn’t a movie about it, it’s not worth knowing, is it?”

A ‘USA Today’ newspaper from the production of Kevin Smith’s 1999 fantasy-comedy Dogma.

Bethany (Linda Fiorentino) is an abortion clinic worker who discovers she is the last living relative of Jesus Christ, and must work to stop two renegade angels, Bartleby (Ben Affleck) and Loki (Matt Damon), from inadvertently causing the end of the world.

This paper and others like it were made for the production and can be seen half way through the film as Silent Bob (Kevin Smith) sits at the table in the ornate restaurant, he and Jay (Jason Mewes) suggest asking the Cardinal Glick (George Carlin) to close the church to stop the renegade angels from returning the heaven and undoing the fabric of the universe. The paper has a small section on Cardinal Glick on the front page in the top right-hand corner and inside on page 5, which has the first paragraph regaling information on Cardinal Glick and a subsequent paragraph written by the prop department, the rest is text from another story.

The piece has minor wear from production use and remains in an otherwise excellent condition.

Materials: Paper.
