An Arcamax Laptop from Barry Levinson's 1994 thriller, Disclosure. Based upon the Michael Crichton novel of the same name, the film follows computer specialist Tom (Michael Douglas) whose job is threatened by Meredith Johnson (Demi Moore), a former lover who now serves as Tom's boss. The Arcamax is a developmental laptop created by Tom's company, DigiCom, and is central to the plot of the film as Meredith tries to discredit Tom's work on the manufacturing of the computer.

This piece comes from the scene in which Tom's co-worker Don (Nicholas Sadler) is assembling and packaging prototype Arcamax computers. Made from plastic, this piece features a flip cover with the Digicom logo printed on the top. Once opened, this device reveals a screen that is held in place by tape and adhesive hidden underneath. The reverse side features a removable bottom with a motherboard underneath, as seen on screen.

When closed, this item measures approximately 7.5" x 7" x 1" (19cm x 3cm x 18cm) and features some wear from production use, including wear to the cover lettering. As this piece is assembled in the film, it comes in several pieces that fit together, however are not secured together, and remains in good used condition.
