Colin Maitland's personal annotated shooting script from Robert Aldrich's war movie The Dirty Dozen. Maitland played convict Seth Sawyer, one of the titular Dozen sent on a suicide mission into France during World War II.
The script - credited to Nunally Johnson and Lukas Heller - is bound in a red leather hardback covering, with the film's title and "Colin Maitland as 'Sawyer'" debossed in gold text on the cover. The script is printed on different coloured pages, indicating different revisions, and many of the pages have been hand-annotated. This script was also used on-screen in a retrospective feature starring Maitland and his fellow cast, for the 2017 special edition DVD. The script is accompanied by a signed letter of authenticity from Maitland, and has some wear from production use and age, including creasing, minor tears and scuffing to the cover. Dimensions: 29 cm x 24 cm x 4 cm (11½" x 9½" x 1½")
Estimate: £3,000 - 5,000 M
