A bust of the subterranean creatures made in the production of Neil Marshall’s 2005 monster film The Descent. Reunited a year after a tragic accident, a group of friends decide to go potholing in the mountains of North Carolina. Becoming trapped in the caves and tending to their injuries the explorers soon realise that they are not alone.
Cast in biscuit foam and covered in a brown wash, this is a bust of one of the monsters that the potholers discover deep underground. The bust has the creature posed in a snarling scream, raising its head into the air. Features of the creatures in the film are easily identifiable, from the pointed ears to the snout and the muzzle-like mouth. Showing minor wear from age and time spent in storage, it remains in an otherwise very good condition.
Materials: Foam, Resin, Silicon.
