Demolition Man

Museum Guard Robes

Stock #70829

”The museum is no longer sealed, is it? Ha-ha! What can I say, I'm a blast from the past!”

A set of museum guard robes from Marco Brambilla’s 1993 action movie Demolition Man.

20th Century cop John Spartan (Sylvester Stallone) is brought out of cryogenesis in 2032 to thwart escaped criminal Simon Phoenix (Wesley Snipes). His tough, old-fashioned ways are at odds with the squeaky-clean lifestyle of the 21st Century.

Museum guards wore their robes during the sequences where Phoenix first robbed the museum armoury of its weapons. One guard was used as a battering ram to break open a shotgun display case.

The costume consists of a long collarless gown with slits up each side and matching set of flowing trousers. Made from heavy cotton, they feature a dull green striped pattern and futuristic styling inspired by Japanese kimono designs. The gown fastens from waist to shoulder with a matching sash. The museum guard emblem on the back and golden badge over the left breast as seen on screen are not present.

Showing minor wear and marking, the robes remain in very good production-used condition.

Materials: Man-Made Woven Fibres.
