SkekTek the Scientist's brooch prototype and printed concept art from Jim Henson's and Frank Oz's fantasy adventure The Dark Crystal. SkekTek wore different iterations of this brooch as he drained victims of their life essences.

This scorpion-shaped resin brooch is painted with a green and copper patina, yellow talons, has an orange faux crystal, and a metal wire at its base. A printed copy of brooch concept sketches is included. The brooch exhibits chipping; the print exhibits folding and edgewear. Dimensions: (print) 16.5" x 12" (42 cm x 20.5 cm); (brooch): 9" x 5.5" x 2.5" (23 cm x 14 cm x 6.5 cm)
