Coraline

Beldam (Teri Hatcher) Half Puppet Face with Red Lipstick

Stock #113995

A Beldam (Teri Hatcher) final transformation half puppet face made for the production of Henry Selick’s 2009 stop-motion film Coraline. A young girl finds a secret world that appears to be an idealized version of her own world. This perfect world begins to unravel as Coraline discovers its dark secrets. Coraline's 'Other Mother' is revealed to be the menacing Beldam at the end of the film.

Produced by the innovative stop-motion production company Laika Studios using 3D printing, this partial puppet head is made from resin and is painted. This head is one of three pieces used to make a complete puppet head that would attach to each other using magnets -- a feature that allowed expressions to be easily changed on a puppet during the process of stop-motion capture. Showing some signs of wear with a cracked nose tip, yet, this piece remains in overall great condition.
