Cobra

Production Envelope with Letter of Thanks

Stock #55045

A production envelope and letter of thanks from George P. Cosmatos's 1986 crime thriller, Cobra. The movie is about a tough-on-crime street cop (Sylvester Stallone) who must protect the only surviving witness to a strange murderous cult with far reaching plans.

This letter was sent to veteran stunt man Terry Leonard, the second unit director, as a carbon copy of a letter sent to Ms. Peg Owens, who worked at the Long Beach Convention Center, from James D. Brubaker, executive producer of the film. The letter thanks her for assistance in using the convention center as the location for the tanker crash sequence in the film. This letter features the 'Cobra' logo in black and white at the top left, and has been signed by James D. Brubaker. The envelope is addressed to Mr. Terry Leonard and also features a color 'Cobra' logo. The envelope has also been interestingly stamped "Rocky IV" in the center, which was not produced by Cannon Productions.

This item features some signs of wear from age, including a slight yellowing of the paper, a hand written note in the top left corner of the envelope, and a rip in the top of the envelope where it was opened, but remains in overall very good condition.
