Cableman Roy Neary (Richard Dreyfuss) has a close encounter one night, witnessing UFOs flying through the sky. Refusing to believe an explanation for what he saw, Roy goes on a mission to pursue the truth and follow clues to meet visitors from the cosmos.
This ticket is for the Royal performance of the film at the Odeon® Leicester Square on Monday 13th March , 1978. The performance was attended by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh and the ticket has information about when the ticket holder should arrive, as well as information about traffic and security. The ticket features the iconic picture of a bright light appearing on the horizon, that appeared in much of the promotion of the film.
The ticket has some wear from age and storage, including a few pronounced creases in the middle where it has been folded into quarters and some curling of the corners, but considering its age it remains in a very good condition.
