A pair of second draft shooting scripts and paperwork from Franc Roddam’s 1999 mini-series Cleopatra.

The scripts are based on the novel ‘ The memoirs of Cleopatra’ by Margaret George and the screenplay is credited to Stephen Harringan and Anton Diether. Each is labelled ‘Part I’ and ‘Part II’ respectively, and are printed on white paper and dated ‘October 2nd, 1998’. They each consist of up to 97 pages and are held together by a metal fastener. Alongside the scripts are three production call sheets printed on pink paper and three photocopies of newspaper articles written about the production.

The scripts display signs of age and production use, such as oxidation on the metal fasteners, fold lines and creasing to the paperwork and smudges on the script covers. Considering their age, the scripts remain in otherwise good condition.
