Jack Ryan’s (Harrison Ford) Certificate of Merit plaque from Philip Noyce’s 1994 thriller Clear and Present Danger.

This certificate was made for the production but ultimately not seen in the final cut of the film. The certificate is printed and mounted in a painted wooden effect frame with a gloss coating. The back of the frame is made from MDF and has a wall hook which allowed it to be secured to the set. The certificate features elaborate and colourful typography, with the bulk of the certificate having a yellow background. It is dated the ‘3rd day of January 1983’ and has an emblem of the ‘Knights of Columbus’ printed.

With some signs of production use, such as markings to the back and finish of the border of the plaque, this item remains in very good condition.

Materials: Paper, Wood, Ferrous Metals.
