This set belongs to Jarek Wysocki, a homicide detective well known in the local community and veteran of the Chicago Police Department. This style of police file is held by Jarek during the sixth episode ‘The Gold Coin Kid’, and is seen on his desk multiple times throughout the series. The police file consists of a clipboard with a blue plastic cover with the ‘Chicago Police’ emblem on the front, two general progress reports with handwritten notes on, and a lined notepad with handwritten notes. The set also features three business cards, printed on card, with all of them featuring different designs. Two designs of the card have the text ‘Chicago police department’ and Jarek’s name with ‘Detective, Bureau of Investigative Services/ Area 5’ printed underneath. The other is yellow with the text ‘Doug Tate, Special Agent’ and an address printed in black. The driving licence is made from plastic and features a photo of Clarke in the role of Wysocki alongside his name, date of birth, address and personal details.
The business cards feature marks and the corners are damaged slightly. The writing in the police reports has bled slightly from water damage, however the set remains in very good condition. This set is supplied with a 20th Century Fox certificate of authenticity.
