Che Guevara's (Benicio del Toro) Hero Backpack from the 2008 Steven Soderbergh biopic, Che. Based on the life of Ernesto "Che" Guevara, this two-part film covers key moments in the historic life of the legendary Argentine Marxist revolutionary.

While this style of backpack can be seen worn throughout the film, this particular piece can be screen matched as the one worn by Che during Part One: The Argentine, during a scene in which he encounters the Pardo brothers in the jungles of Cuba. The bag can be identified by sight specific marks on the two primary straps of the backpack.

Constructed from a variety of materials, this backpack is predominantly made from nylon, and includes leather straps. The bag features three side pockets on the outside of the bag, each with an adjustable locking strap. On the inside of the back pack where the straps connect is a leather backing with an inscription reading "Che" in black marker.

As an added bonus, this backpack has been stuffed with several dark green wool blankets used during production, that still feature remnants of dirt and debris from the outdoor locations. This backpack weighs approximately 18lbs (8kg), measures approximately 20" x 20" x 20" (41cm x 51cm x 41cm) and features minor wear from production use (see photos) but remains in overall good production used condition.
