A shooting script used on the production of Chaplin, the biographical film of the life and career of Charles Chaplin.
Based on ‘My Autobiography’ by Charlie Chaplin and ‘Chaplin – His Life and Art’ by David Robinson, the movie shows Charley Chaplin’s (Robert Downey Jr.) life from a childhood of extreme poverty, through his worldwide success, and to his eventual exile from America on suspicion of communist sympathies.
The script would have been used for shooting purposes and features a black cover with a white stencilled picture of Chaplin in the centre. ‘Richard Attenborough’s film Charlie’ is written in cursive script beneath – ‘Charlie’ being the original title of the film. It is comprised of 125 US letter-sized pages including the title page, bound with two brass butterfly fasteners. The script is unannotated and without highlights, and remains in excellent condition.
Materials: Card, Paper, Ferrous Metals.
