Captain America: The First Avenger

Radiation Control Panel

Stock #89927

”Whatever happens tomorrow you must promise me one thing. That you will stay who you are. Not a perfect soldier, but a good man.”

A radiation control panel from the set of Joe Johnston’s 2011 entry to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain America: The First Avenger.

Scrawny Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) is rejected for military service as the United States marches to war against the Japanese and Germans. Given entry by Dr Abraham Erskine (Stanley Tucci), Rogers enlists as part of a “super soldier” experiment, eventually becoming the famous Captain America.

This control panel and others like it were made for the production for the scene when Steve Rogers is transformed into Captain America in Howard Stark’s (Dominic Cooper) underground laboratory. The panel is metal and features five holes through which dials would have been. The text is debossed onto the panel and highlighted in black.

The panel has some minor wear from production use and age, including some scuffing and scratches. Overall it remains in an excellent condition.

Materials: Ferrous Metals.
