A metal Hydra plaque from the production of Joe Johnston’s 2011 Marvel action-adventure film Captain America: The First Avenger.
Scrawny Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) is rejected for military service as the USA marches to war against Japan and Germany. Helped by Dr Abraham Erskine (Stanley Tucci), Rogers enlists as part of a “super soldier” experiment, becoming the famous Captain America and taking the war to the nefarious Red Skull (Hugo Weaving).
Plaques like this were made for the production and appear on the walls of Hydra facilities, such as on Dr Arnim Zola’s (Toby Jones) train, which Captain America and his allies stormed later in the film. The plaque is a brushed metal plate on black plastic backing. The front features the iconic Hydra logo and instructions in German, as well as various serial numbers. The plaque shows minor wear from production use - the reverse features adhesive residue. Overall, the piece remains in very good condition – a great item for Hydra collectors.
Materials: Ferrous Metals, Plastics.
