Sidney Lipton's (Michael Caine) Black Military Jacket

Stock #91926

”I’ve heard of losing your head over a girl, but this…

A jacket worn by Sidney Lipton (Michael Caine) in Michael Winner’s 1990 slapstick comedy Bullseye!

Michael Caine and Roger Moore play dual roles, as a pair of nuclear physicists and a pair of conmen, who use their resemblances to commit crimes but find themselves caught up in a world of espionage and intrigue.

This black jacket formed part of Sidney’s disguise when he and fellow con-man Garald Bradley-Smith (Roger Moore) are in Scotland impersonating their doppelgangers and trying to take the diamonds for themselves.

Designed to fit in with traditional formal Scottish outfits, the jacket is made from black wool and features white piping all over and many ornate silver-coloured thistle buttons. Inside is a Bermans and Nathans’ label (now part of Angels costumers) that reads ‘Bullseye, Michael Caine’, with ‘ED’ handwritten in pen. As it was made specially for Caine there are no sizes marked. It has some minor wear from production use and age, including some loose threads around the buttons, but it remains in an otherwise excellent condition.

Materials: Man-Made Woven Fibres, Ferrous Metals.
