Leather Wrapped Helmet

Stock #124088

“Every man dies, not every man really lives.”

A leather wrapped helmet from Mel Gibson’s biopic history film Braveheart.

When his secret bride is executed for assaulting an English soldier who tried to rape her, William Wallace (Mel Gibson) begins a revolt against King Edward I of England.

Leather wrapped helmets were worn by the English soldiers. The helmet is metal with a dome shape and a piece that covers the back of the neck, it is decorated with brass studs and leather pieces. The helmet has foam and fabric on the inside and a leather strap. The helmet shows signs of rust and the leather and fabric is peeling away slightly. It remains in an otherwise good condition.
