Quentin’s (Bill Nighy) jacket from Richard Curtis’ 2009 comedy The Boat That Rocked.
A group of rogue DJs broadcast illegally from a boat off the British coast during the 1960s and bring entertainment to the nation, despite the best efforts of the Government to shut them down.
This jacket did not make it into the final cut of the film, instead appearing in a deleted scene. It is a tweed jacket with a velvet collar and features a handwritten label in the inside right pocket which reads “14.1.08 114726 Bill Nighy RC”. It also features a label on the outside of the pocket from Academy Costumes.
The jacket has very little wear from production use and age and remains in an excellent condition.
