Stock #52181

Margaret Keane's (Amy Adams) License Plate from Tim Burton's 2014 biographical drama, Big Eyes. Based on real events, the film follows the story of painter Margaret Keane, her phenomenal success in the 1950s, and the subsequent legal difficulties she had with her husband, who claimed credit for her works in the 1960s. This license plate can be seen towards the beginning of the film, when Keane first moves to San Fransisco.

Cast in plastic, this license plate has a realistic look to it. Featuring period accurate colors, the background of the plate is painted golden rod, and the raised letters have been painted black. The issue year (1956) is printed in the top right corner. The back of the plate has two pieces of tape used during production to make sure the plates always went to the correct vehicles.

This item features some signs of wear from production use, including minor scuffs to the paint on the front, but remains in overall excellent condition.
