Freeze effect reference art from Joel Schumacher’s Batman & Robin. Mr. Freeze (Arnold Schwarzenegger) freezes several people solid, including Robin (Chris O’Donnell), throughout the film. This assorted art was used to design the effect. This lot includes five photo prints of O’Donnell in position for the freezing effect, a hand drawn pencil sketch of a frozen man, a printed image of a man with hand-drawn frozen effects signed by Jim McPherson, three prints of frozen men sketches, a photo print of an actor posing, and13 pages of printed images of a final effect piece made and used in the film. The frozen men sketches were all done by sculptor Jim McPherson. Four of the Robin prints feature hand drawn freezing effects from production. The pages show some wear such as bends, folds, and slight tears leaving them in overall fair condition. Dimensions (largest): 17” x 11” (43 cm x 28 cm)
