The Penguin's (Danny DeVito) flipper molds made during the production of Tim Burton’s superhero sequel Batman Returns. This time around, Bruce Wayne/Batman (Michael Keaton) must face off against the Penguin (Danny DeVito), who has his own version of corrupt politics while Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer) stirs up acrobatic mayhem.
The set consists of two pairs of positive and negative epoxy castings flippers and two partial cores, which were used to fill in the negative space as foam latex filled in around it to create the flippers. The flipper molds are labelled "Danny Devito Penguin Hand" and are noted as being made for the right or left hand. The two cores also include a right and left hand, both of which are missing three fingers on the left and two on the right.
This set shows some wear to the epoxy due to production use and age, however the set remains in fine used condition.
