An ‘Easy’ Company helmet from the production of the historical TV mini-series Band Of Brothers, produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks.
Based on the book by Stephen E. Ambrose, the series shows the wartime lives of the 101st Airborne Division’s ‘Easy’ Company. It follows them from their training at Camp Currahee through to the end of the war.
This helmet, and others like it, were made for the production to be worn by members of ‘Easy’ Company. Made of metal and painted green, it's decorated with a white spade on each side; the ‘Easy’ Company insignia. It also features a chin strap.
The helmet has some wear from production use and age, including some scuffing and scratches. There are a few small areas of rust, most notably about the edge, but overall it remains in an excellent condition.
Materials: Ferrous Metals, Man-Made Woven Fibres.
