A set of original production used storyboards from Robert Zemeckis’ sci-fi adventure film Back To The Future II.
These storyboards and others like them were used by the crew to visualise the film’s many sequences, providing guidance on framing, shot types and camera angles.
This set of three printed storyboards was used to visualise part the film’s hoverboard sequence as Marty (Michael J. Fox) is chased by Griff (Thomas F. Wilson) and his gang. In the famous scene, Marty is chased out of Café 80s by the gang and desperately looks for a fast means of escape.
The two storyboard pages are printed in horizontal format with one image per page, printed in black and white on white A4 paper. The text “PAR 3000” is stamped in red on each page along with “SC 26A” and numbered 13, 14 and 15. Each image features brief handwritten directions and directional arrows to show movements for Marty and the camera.
Hole punched at the top where they were arranged as part of a sequence, the storyboards remain in excellent condition.
