A set of 9 dense, custom-made rubber “Scar” Predator belt components from the 2004 sci-fi action film AVP: Alien vs. Predator. In the film, the Predator known as Scar (Ian Whyte) dispatches components modeled on these prototypes from his combat belt while hunting alien xenomorphs.
Each piece is air-brushed silver, copper, and black to resemble otherworldly metal weaponry, production-distressed to appear ancient, and features faux belt buckles and Yautja text carved on the front. The largest component (5 ½”) is marked ‘Model Enamel’, ‘Acrylic’, and ‘Rub N Buff’ in silver marker, while two others are marked ‘Skinflex’ and ‘Auto Sealer/Oil’, respectively. The heaviest component is more severely distressed than the others, with rope ties securing a torn belt buckle to the back.
These pieces exhibit minor signs of production use and age throughout, but the grouping remains in very good condition overall.
