An Ancient Predator (Ian Whyte) mask and necklace from Paul W. S. Anderson's sci-fi action film AVP: Alien vs. Predator. In the final scene, The Ancient gifted Lex Woods (Sanaa Lathan) a Combistick after she survived the Yautjas' Antarctica hunt for xenomorphs.
This lot features a foam latex Ancient mask with carved resin teeth and spikes and an interior metal and fibreglass head clasp marked "David", as well as a brown and black leather necklace affixed with bronze-colour metal jewels and production-weathered rubber animal skulls. The mask and necklace were designed, fabricated, and painted by Academy Award®-winning special effects group Amalgamated Dynamics, Inc. (ADI). This lot is in fair overall condition with visible flaking and cracking to the foam latex, frayed leather, and two loose dreadlocks.
