A small-scale model miniature of the Independence shuttle from Michael Bay's sci-fi adventure Armageddon. The small-scale model was used for distance shots of the two shuttles as they carried their crew of miners to destroy the asteroid hurtling towards Earth.
Made of resin, the model is painted grey with black detailing and a yellow lightning flash on the tail fin. Small holes are present on the underside of the model where rods would have been mounted during filming. The shuttle comes presented on a custom metal-and-wood display stand and shows light wear, missing one fin on the right side. Dimensions: (shuttle) 12 cm x 7 cm x 4.5 cm (4¾" x 2¾" x 1¾")
Estimate: £2,000 - 3,000 Ω
